Great Auk Wireless

Plans are friendly to seasonal users

Great Auk Wireless recognizes that throughout our New England service area there are a large number of vacation and seasonal residences. In order to effectively serve this customer base we have developed our residential plans to be seasonal-friendly.

All Great Auk Wireless accounts are designed to provide always-on, reliable connectivity to your location. The service is ideal for working remotely from your vacation home and has been tailored to allow you to change your account to a non-billing status at any time, stopping your monthly recurring fees when you leave for the off-season.

How am I billed for my Service Plan seasonally?

Great Auk Wireless customers have their credit cards or bank accounts automatically billed on the first day of each month for their plan charges plus any additional services they may be purchasing. As a seasonal user you may alter your account to non-billing status at any time without penalty however, your account must have 12 billable monthly periods within your first 36 months of service. During suspended service periods, you are not charged your monthly service charge. If you are purchasing the GAW equipment protection program, that charge will still be billed to insure that should any damage to your equipment occur in your absence, your equipment can be replaced or serviced at no additional charge when you reactivate. Service can be reactivated at any time with a one-time reactivation fee of $25.00. Monthly charges will be prorated to the day your service is reactivated and you will be billed again on the first day of the following month.
